Wide band coverage / Low SWR
Brand new 3.5dB Gain , low SWR "Trishul" Antenna (Coined By Delhi HAMs)are available for sale. Its portable , easy to assemble multi band and other specifications are given below (as per specification given on the box).
- Looks: Trishul
- Gain : 3 db to 3.5 db
- frequency. : 110Mhz and 140 MHz (will work on HAM Bands (with Low SWR) without any modifications but rods can be cut as per your requirement)
- Cable : 50 ohms (foam cable)
- SWR : less then 1.2
- weight: 1700 gm
- Coaxial Cable length: 45 feet (Approx.)

Test report of the "Trishul Antenna" using MFJ Antenna Analyser - By Frank VU2XLZ
Fellow RF Travelers,
I just tested the TRISHUL with the MFJ Antenna Analyser. I was SURPRISED to see the results.
With the antenna on a PVC pipe and stuck about 10 feet up,with all the rods uncut and attached as per specifications – the results are as follows:
- 110.000 – SWR 1.0; Impedance 55; Reactance 0 – Seems the resonant frequency!
- 144.000 – SWR 1.3; Impedance 46; Reactance 12 – Seems suitable for our purpose without any modifications!
- 145.000 – SWR 1.1; Impedance 44; Reactance 1 – Seems suitable for our purpose without any modifications!
- 146.000 – SWR 1.1; Impedance 53; Reactance 6 – Seems suitable for our purpose without any modifications!
- 150.000 = SWR 1.3; Impedance 36, Reactance 0 - Still okay, even though this is outside the Ham band
What are you chaps waiting for -= grab one before all get sold out!!!!! Arun – when the history of the TRISHUL Antenna is written, I hope I get a small footnote!!!!! Cheers and hope to see many more on the air soon. Anyone wanting any more tests – please let me know – glad to oblige!!!
